IRVING, Texas — Mike Tyson and Jake Paul blazoned they were ready for their bout Friday at AT&T Stadium, but only one of them did it in style.
Paul arrived at Wednesday's press conference with commodity candescent around his right observance.
" I could not cut my( curse) off Friday night, so I put my diamond refocused observance cover right there," Paul said, a reference to Tyson smelling off a piece of Evander Holyfield's observance during their 1997 fight.
Tyson did n't reply — a departure from the frequently cheerful address the former world heavyweight champion displays during fight medications. He has come decreasingly recalcitrant as the bout draws near.
Netflix, which will livestream the fight, also livestreamed the press conference — the final press conference before the fight which was a discrepancy in styles.
Paul, 27, wore a black sleeveless T- shirt with shimmer on it and sunglasses.
“ I’m not hysterical of anybody, so I want him to be that old Brutal Mike, ” Paul said. “ I’m ready. I want that killer. I want the toughest match on Friday night and I want everybody at home to have no defenses when I knock him out. ”
When the two men were seated about 15 bases piecemeal, Paul looked at Tyson and said, “ So is that what you’re gon na bring, the killer? ”
Tyson, 58, was wearing a black T- shirt and a dark jean- style jacket and pants. Would he be the killer on Friday night, Paul wanted to know?
Tyson just looked ahead. And kept looking.
“ I’m just ready, ” Tyson eventually said.
The press conference concluded with host Ariel Helwani asking the 12 other prizefighters on the fight card who they allowed would win the Tyson- Paul fight.
Nine said Tyson and three said Paul.
Paul is the laying fave.
They will meet again at the weigh- sways on Thursday before meeting inside a boxing ring on Friday in the middle of Dallas cowhands Stadium.
